Yahoo chat rooms down again because of a captcha exploit being run on all rooms. Why are Yahoo allowing this to happen? Is it going to be fixed?

Hello,

I would like to know what is the shortcut that a visually impaired (blind) person can use the panel to access the received messages from a contact person. Watching the video with Victor using Yahoo messanger with JAWS, but Victor doesn’t mention what is the shortcut to read/access the received messages, and also I couldn’t find any related information yet.

Sarah, perhaps you could ask Victor for his opinion on the Yahoo! Chat captcha in Yahoo! Messenger?

Unlike most captchas on the web, there is no alternative, such as an audio. This makes it almost impossible for the blind or visually impaired users to join chat rooms, unless somebody is there to complete the captcha on their behalf.
