We’re excited to introduce to you the Messenger Help Community! In this new extension of Yahoo! Help, you’ll find a friendly environment where you can talk to real people like yourself, as well as members of the Yahoo! staff (yes, we’re real too
). Whether you want to discuss features, seek help with an issue, or save someone’s day by sharing your wisdom and experience, there are a variety of discussion forums available to you. Come check it out!

Don’t miss out!
You can keep up to date with discussions by subscribing to them. Go to “My Subscriptions” and sign up to receive email notifications when posts are made to topics and forums that you’ve subscribed to. Have topics of your own? You can easily track these through “My Topics” and see what others are saying about your ideas and queries.
Boost your community status!
It’s easy to increase your reputation score in the community; just participate in a discussion to earn a variety of point awards. You’ll gain the most points when you successfully help others. A topic reply is good, a helpful reply even better, and a reply picked as a solution by the topic owner…the best.

On Saturday, January 28, 2012, I am repeatedly unable to access YIM. It always says “servers may be busy.” Over several hours? What’s up? I can’t find anything that says there is maintenance going on…

Um… my Yahoo Messenger insists that I am having internet connection issues and refuses to log in. I was logged in last night and woke up to this issue this morning. I have restarted the computer, re-downloaded yahoo messenger (because obviously I DO have internet…) and still it says there is a connection problem and will not open Messenger.

The new conversation history features suck … little to no search features … seach results are lumped together without any date associated. Very frustrated … may try to revert to previous YIM version.

I havent been able to connect with this upgraded messenger either..it says cannot connect and i may not be connected to the internet..it is ongoing prob with yahoo for alot of people

Would really be IDEAL if there was an option for the receiving end of photo sharing to NOT be able to save image to his/her computer. I don’t understand how this was missed by developers.

i’ve always used the old messenger to text my kids on their cell phones from my computer, and it ALWAYS worked fine…. the new messenger NEVER works right.
guess i’ll need to find a different messenger.

Dear Readers,
This is called “Living with Chronic Pain & Disease”.
Ever day I wake up feeling like a mack truck ran over me.
See back in 183 I lost a child, they did not screen the blood then, so they gave me Hep “C”, which I did not know I had until 1998 along with F.M., chronic fatigue, myofacial pain, uncontrolled High Blood Pressure, Severe Migraines/Cluster headaches, Bulging muscles in back & neck. I wake up feeling like Hell everyday, but, I have to take a shot for the Hep “C” once a week that puts me down for 2-4 days in agony, and nothing I have tried helps. I have had every kind of therapy, every preventative pain drug, and I take pain meds daily just to function that barely take the edge off so I can stand myself? Is this you? Do you know what is wrong with you, by a doctor? Is their anything that you do or take that helps you? I am looking to start a community of people with different diseases , and pain so we can help each other find the answer to learn how to live better with it, or better yet, be healed for good, any Ideas? My daughter is only 30 has all the same and on top of it M.S.? Please be kind and share your stories. Together I believe, we can find the cure, find a way to share our stories to help each other to live a better more pain free, and longer life!!!! I have read, researched and been to some of the best doctors in Orlando, and i am only getting worse by the day. I just found out I am only operating on 38% of my heart also, and the hospital did not bother to tell me over one year ago when I was there for heart problems, said I was fine.
Great hospitals over here. If you have no insurance or medic-aid they don’t care if you live or die! Don’t you agree?
