Chat with your Facebook Friends on Yahoo! Mobile Web Messenger

Yes, we have added Mobile Web Messenger to the list! In the last couple of months, we have enabled Facebook Chat integration in SMS Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger App for Android, and now, Mobile Web Messenger! Our goal is to make it easy for you to send and receive messages from your Facebook friends while you’re on the go, no matter which mobile device you’re using.
The chat experience will be similar to what you are used to except that now you will be able to initiate conversations with your Facebook friends as well. For those who prefer to show your online presence only to your Yahoo! contacts, you can choose to sign out of Facebook Chat – You are in control of your experience!
To set up, simply login to Mobile Web Messenger (http://m.yahoo.com/messenger) and click on the Facebook notification banner to link your Facebook & Yahoo! accounts. Upon successful authentication, you will be able to see your online Facebook friends in a separate tab. Click on any one of your Facebook friends and start chatting away!

How come no decent updates are coming to the iPhone Yahoo! Messenger app ..?!!! the Android already has the facebook integration .. but the iPhone app doesn’t have the Facebook integration, also it is still having bugs and issues … !!

When they can manage to kill the bots with ANY version of messenger….. count me in. They’ve nearly abandoned Yahoo Chat rooms to them already

I’ll tell you what I think.
In YM for android the link/banner “link to facebook”on top of the contact list is really really annoying, intrusive and completely misplaced. Unless it is intended to be annoying and intrusive.
That there is no way to get rid of it makes it even worse. it belongs in the options menu, not plastered on the contact list taking up valuable real estate.
Get it fixed.

I have a major proble with the new yahoo messanger older versions work fine but the new version just does not work on my iphone 4 from verison?? i have tried to fig out what is going on seems the people i txt to dont recieve my IM’S?? i have sent messages about the problem to yahoo developers but no reply about it…can someoen send me the link to an older version messanger for my iphone i have tried to find it online but no luck…thanks

Dear expert of yahoo messenger for mobile.the newly released yahoo messenger ver 1.0.1 though showing its as jar or jad file is not working in nokia 6630 or other s60v2 phone.it was a great hope that we the lost cost user of mobile device is geting new yahoo mobile products like msn and google.as msn is still running best live messenger for their userer and usable for all kinds of phones.i would like to request yahoo expert to make compatible to use the new messenger application for s60v2 phones.regards,peter
