The final version of Yahoo! Messenger 11 is now available!

Thanks to all of you who tried Yahoo! Messenger 11 during the Beta period and provided feedback on your experience. We are excited to announce that as of today, Messenger 11 is no longer in Beta. You can download the final version from our website right now. This latest version incorporates many bug fixes and we’ve improved the general stability of the product.

Invite your friend to play a game – In addition to instant messages, text messages, voice and video calls, you can now play popular social games such as Mafia Wars and Fishville right within Yahoo! Messenger.

Post one status to multiple social networks – Share your Messenger status simultaneously on Yahoo! Pulse, Facebook, and Twitter.
Chat with Facebook friends – In addition to your friends on Windows Live, you can now IM your Facebook friends. Continue your conversations on the go using Mobile Web Messenger, SMS Messenger or Yahoo! Messenger App for Android.
Always be available – Stay signed in to multiple PCs simultaneously so you never have to miss a message.
Easy access to recent conversations – Retrieve all your IM conversations from any PC where you have signed in to Yahoo! Messenger.
Personalize your experience with fresh new skins – Express yourself and show off your personality with one of the 7 newly added messenger skins.

Chat with your Facebook Friends on Yahoo! Mobile Web Messenger

Yes, we have added Mobile Web Messenger to the list! In the last couple of months, we have enabled Facebook Chat integration in SMS Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger App for Android, and now, Mobile Web Messenger! Our goal is to make it easy for you to send and receive messages from your Facebook friends while you’re on the go, no matter which mobile device you’re using.

The chat experience will be similar to what you are used to except that now you will be able to initiate conversations with your Facebook friends as well. For those who prefer to show your online presence only to your Yahoo! contacts, you can choose to sign out of Facebook Chat – You are in control of your experience!

To set up, simply login to Mobile Web Messenger  (http://m.yahoo.com/messenger) and click on the Facebook notification banner to link your Facebook & Yahoo! accounts. Upon successful authentication, you will be able to see your online Facebook friends in a separate tab. Click on any one of your Facebook friends and start chatting away!
