Speaking of emoticons, what have you done to them?
Lately, whenever I type something like this: “hello.
how are you?” the emoticon is reformatted without any spaces in the actual sent message to look like this: “hello.:)how are you?”
Please sort this out!

I agree with some of the comments above. You should be focussed on making a good product. Why can’t I even have something basic like my status updated depending on the music I’m listening to? Yahoo sucks compared to Windows Live Messenger these days.

They’ll never fix it. They’ll most likely see it’s more trouble than its worth and discontinue it. They really should, they’re wasting their money maintaining it and its servers.

Does anyone know of a way to block chat invites/requests from anyone not already on my buddy list? Keep getting requests via IM and within Yahoo Mail interface. Very annoying.

ok so what is with all the bots in the chatrooms? the Instant messenger is great, but the moment you try to go to a chatroom you get bombarded with bots asking you to view thier cam on a pay site, or telling you to go see this porn site. Its sick. Also the messenger admins are shit as well. they do nothing, and our ignore lists should be unlimited
