Messaging between Yahoo! and other networks
May 12, 2010 on 3:42 pm | In 10 version, 9.0 version | Add a Comment
One of the nice things within Yahoo! Messenger is that you can add friends from other networks such as Window Live (MSN), LCS, Lotus Sametime etc directly into your friend list within Yahoo! Messenger. You can then see their presence information (online/offline) and also exchange IMs right from within Yahoo! Messenger.
However, some of you may have noticed that for the last several hours there have been some problems with the interoperability features especially related to sending IMs from Yahoo! Messenger to other networks.
The good news is that our engineering team has identified the problem and fixed it – if you are still experiencing intermittent problems, please Sign Out of Yahoo! Messenger and sign back in.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused as a result of this issue.

The “Link” to Yahoo Groups: Messenger, on the right, does NOT have the best group on the net for helping folks with Yahoo Messenger problems and that group is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Yahoo_Messenger
Please fix this error!!!

I would like to know when is yahoo going to do something about the massive posts by bots in the chatrooms. Its getting to the point people are giving up using yahoo for anything.I think its just sad and pathetic yahoo ignores this issue,
