1. it’s feature set is almost caught up to mac messenger. And updated about 10x as often so i give it another year tops before it is passed it.

    Yahoo for iphone is awsome! but can you change the sound of the new message, it is so annoying.. i think a more calm sound would make it perfect!

21. Would like to add my name to the ever growing list of people asking for the following for the iPhone version:
    1) Stealth settings on a per-friend basis. Right now the only option is to appear invisible to all.
    2) Ability to change the notification sound. When I get a new im, my poor phone emits a horrid sound which I cannot change for messenger.

    I have seen numerous comments and posts about the above requests, hopefully they can be implemented soon.

28. How come, I can’t use Yahoo messenger when I am traveling? It seems, it’s easy for any Hotel to block access to voice/video calling. Is there a way to by-pass this hurdle? Cheers.

30. It’s great that yahoo has develop instant messenger for the i phone, but since the days of Dick Tracy people have been crying to be able to see whom they are speaking to on the phone. Skype is the preferred medium when it comes to chatting with friends and family member online. This is the way to go when it comes to the i phone.

32. Have been using this App on my iphone–an frequently LOSE messages from people. A notification will pop up letting me know I have a message–and if I click VIEW…more often than not, the message does not load–nor do previous messages in the same thread. For instance, today I could see a message from a friend had come in–they had left 14 entries…but when I clicked to view…there were none. How do I fix this glitch?

    Also…when I turn my keyboard sideways–the screen is cut off…including the send key.

36. Also, please let us choose whether we want the suggestive spelling or not. Some people type in a different language and it gets very tiring to have to go back and re type our words because yahoo thought it was misspelled and changed it to a different word. THANK YOU!
