4. Dear Staff;

   After having successfully installed this new version a few things occurred…

   The Video & Voice Setup crashed.

   The Video Call crashed also.

   Things started off great, then they both just crashed.

   I’m using WIN XP PRo w/ SP3.

5. continue to try to Install Yahoo 10 successfully, but it continues to “stick” at what appears to be 99% – the only way to close the screen/program/ download

   The yahoo icon shows up, in fact Yahoo works – as it is I glibly guess installed 99% of the way, and of course, not too well, as it continues to crash – sign me out, and the computer has continual restart yahoo errors.

   As it is I was using digsby, but had to go back to yahoo, due to continual signing out errors thus making the program (yahoo on digsby) mostly unusably.

   I would love to hear or receive feedback. Using windows7 home premium

8. Mostly smooth transition, Yahoo! Finance Plug quit working?? I reported it. All other plugs work OK so, it’s not an installation problem.
   IM Window works fine as well. Overall I am happy with the product. Hope to get Finacial Plug operating soon, very useful for me. Well done Sarah and the Yahoo Team. Henryk

10. You still continue to pull the wrong info for plugins. I have all of my configuration settings to English and US, however your plugin list continues to show me information in Thai (because I am physically in Thailand).

    after update from YM 10 build 1241 to 1258. every time i login YM will stop responding then stop working……

    has been disable windows defender, restart uninstall then reinstall… problem still occur..

    My Windows is Vista with SP2. TQ

14. Is there a way to use the webcam WITHOUT also voice dialing someone? They used to be two separate things, but they’ve integrated them together now.

15. @Craig – You are correct in that the new video feature in Yahoo! Messenger 10 is coupled with voice; when you place a video call, audio is automatically included. However once you’re connected, you can always mute your call and your own mic if needed.

    Note that the webcam broadcast feature is the same and does not include audio.

16. early i have problem after sign in to YM the first time..
    now i have figure out the problem. don’t use “Sign in as invisible to everyone”. then problem gone.

    after the first login, YM will work normally with Invisible option. TQ

18. I’ve tested yahoo messenger 7 to 10 on all XP, Vista and 7, but it still crashed often with webcam.

    I keep getting error message says You do not have permission to view this webcam when my internet kick me off or crash often.

    I have to show you something…. you will take a look at that picture

    you will see that cloned webcam with my friend’s webcam and my webcam alike look…….

22. This updated version needs to be fixed still cuz when I installed it on my pc which I have Windows Vista it was installing and then after gave me an error and when I click on the icon it won’t do anything and then I noticed that it removed it off my computer when I didn’t uninstall it so I ended up restoring my pc 2 days earlier to get the 10.0.0.1102 us version back.

25. What happened to the sound thing in chat that was in version 9? It allowed me and my friends to send MP3 sounds to each other in a chat, along with the various canned sounds that came with.
    Can you give us a file to add that back in?
    Who even wants video? I sure don’t want to see my ugly old friends!

28. Hi. I noticed, that on Windows XP if the focus is on yahoo messenger, and I try to cahnge the keyboard language, YM crashes. Has anyone met this problem?

32. I also am still using version 9 and am happier with it than v10. Will I be able to go back to my present version if this doesn’t suit me??? My v9 works well so far – I also certainly hope we are not being forced off it
