Is broadcasting Twitter updates not possible with YM 10 Beta? I don’t see Twitter in the Manage Updates page.

It because of the voice compression protocol. From messenter preferences try selecting proper internet connection option, that might resolve your problem.

For example, if you have cable or DSL and in the messenger preferences, your internet connection is selected as dial-up then you could face such a problem. If you have dial-up, I guess there is nothing you could do.

There is a problem with YM for Mac Beta 4. Whenever I use a headphone set with microphone, other people sound like chipmunks on Yahoo Voice. It is not the headphone set because I tried several brands. I re-installed YM. I am using an Intel-based iMac. Please HELP!!!!!!

not really impressed. Ofcourse havent been for some time. could you maybe spend some time makeing bot moderated user rooms instead of createing this little novelty that we could have made using yahoo open source

Sarah, has your group considered adding a CAPTCHA verification system for posting comments? I see a lot of spam getting through in the blog, and this might help.
