Give us your best Yahoo! smile

July 31, 2009 on 8:03 am | In Fun Stuff | 3 Comments

A Philippines blog called “Yahoo! Purple Hunt Adventure” had a nice story about a 5-year old girl named Caitlyn.

After watching her parents communicate with friends and relatives on Yahoo! Messenger, she blurted out to her Mom one day, “this is how Yahoo! smiles!”.

Since then, our smiley has inspired her to practice drawing it and she even made a quick video, giving her best imitation of the “bouncy smiley” that you see when you’re signing into Yahoo! Messenger. Check it out below.

We’re all smiles over here too, Caitlyn.

  1. Hello Sarah. Thank you so much for liking our blog post. When I saw Caitlyn flashing that Yahoo! smile, I knew that is one thing really worth sharing. It is a reminder on what the application is really all about which is to communicate to people that matters to us, whether business or personal.

The Yahoo! Purple Hunt Adventure is already finished in the Philippines and have decided to revert the blog back to its original title. Nevertheless, the memories of the whole adventure will always remain in the hearts of Yahoo! Purple Hunters in the Philippines.

    Thank you again Sarah.

  3. Saeah ,
Your little girl is so adorable. It would be so nice if everyone could have her YAHOO SMILE. This world could use a PRINCESS like her to make the sad happy. There is not enough smiles being shared. So thank you for sharing her’s with all of us here on YAHOO.
