10 minutes later… It now works. I don’t know if the privacy options or that link did it. Anyway. It works now. It took a while to update… probably… or divine interevention. Thanks God.

I am very sad to hear that messenger pigbox cannot be detected from mobile phone! It is the biggest weakness of messenger I have never seen before. I hope that the problem can be solved quickly.

My pingbox works fine on XP using both Foxfire and IE8. If you go to a computer using Vista and IE8 the pingbox does not load. The white rectangle shows where it is supposed to be but it never loads even if you refresh the page.

This happened to me and it turned out I caused the problem myself. When setting up Privacy Options in Messenger 9.0, I unchecked the box that says “show availability in other yahoo sites” or something like that – and that caused my pingboxes to show always offline. The second I put the checkmark on that box, all pingboxes immediately worked.

Any idea when this will work for Mobile IM and Yahoo Mail? Those are the two versions I use exclusively and it would be so nice to use the pingbox for my site. Are there other options?

Heck I just read all the comments on here and I am laughing . Yahoo pingbox won’t even load on my website. I am always signed into yahoo messenger, and sometimes pingbox loads and most of the time it doesn’t. It is just another one of yahoos poor quality products is all.

ohhhhhh thank u very much at first i was a little bit confused by the blank page .. but then i tried signing out, then i signed back in it worked
