Not necessarily. I’m actually thinking of ditching WLM for Y! Messenger, because it’s not nearly as BLOATED as WLM is. Y! Knows just how to get things in without bloating the product.
Yahoo: Yall should make a slideshow of the history of Yahoo and the Messenger (from the earliest version of Pager upto 9.0 and beyond)

Happy birthday? Are you still alive Yahoo? I hope Microsoft will buy you soon so we we would have a decent looking Messenger not that enforced kiddy crap. Make Windows GUI available instead of your crappy themes!!! 2 years you struggled with an alpha version for vista and you gave up, three years and messenger 3 for Mac is still beta. Sell to Microsoft you’re as good as dead.

Why do we want Microsoft to buy Yahoo? If they did then Y! Messenger would be as bloated as WLM is. And Do you really want to be forced to upgrade endlessly?
