The Yahoo! avatar thing shows to other users but a photo does not, either one I upload or one I take with my webcam. Anyone else having this issue? Also, one option I'd love to see in YM would be to have the people that are connected via SMS show up in a separate contact list. Right now we don't have a definitive date as to when support for this will be added to the Mac. Yes, the option to require a nickname is checked. Like I said, when I sign into my account on a PC I can view the nicknames of people who IM me through the pingbox.
