		<description>ave got the solution, if you are using the latest version (same as mine) go to messenger at the top of the tool bar, and click on preferences
 wen u check the connection setting u would see a option that asks you if you want to connect directly to the internet.
that option is selected and that is the problem.
intstead select the second option which says:
HTTP Proxy.
If u select that option and click okay, your problem should be solved. let me know if its not solved.</description>

But I could log in via the web version with no problem. RESOLUTION: Sign into your Yahoo account and change your password to NOT include special characters. Some may work but I KNOW apostrophe&#039;s do not!</description>
