I get a app crash while running latest version on Vista. The Fault module name is ntdll.dll. This happens in the middle of the chat sessions quite randomly.

I am trying to install Yahoo! messenger on my Windows Vista’ Laptop. It seems that I am getting the popular probelm “Messenger encountered a connection problem. Please check the network connection and then click “Try Again”. (81003004) ”
Although I downloaded the latest version mentioned above in this page. I tried several times (Install/Uninstal) with no luck!
After doing uninstall still:
- Yahoo! Install Manager, and
- Yahoo! Internet Mail
appear in “Control Panel\Programs and Features” that I can uninstall.

Help will be highly appreciated.

this is such bs. I had the older 8.0 and then it crashes with this freakin 81003005 error message. So i go and try to dload the new version 9.0. Guess what, same pathetic issue. wtf yahoo. learn to make working messengers. please contact me about how i can solve this please.

ugh….thought i upgraded…guess not…I had a fully function im…then downloaded version 9…now i can’t even get logged on…y can’t we download the older version like we could with the betas? what if your customer base prefers the older version? I know I do…it was functional…

Downloaded this new Messenger, now i have no text in instant messages. I know Im getting then cause the box pops up… but i cannot read or send them… Anyone know what that’s about? Really annoying…

I have the same problem as mentioned by CYD CHARIZ .Wow,I’ve already restarted my computer,reinstall Yahoo! Messenger 9.0,and try around 11 times.At first,I have not problems with this verison of Yahoo! Messenger.I checked on a website and the web suggested that I should scan my computer and the error might be caused by Spyware,Malware,and others.I’m still working hard to search for helpa and support.Do you guys think that the error: 81003004 and 81003005 are caused by Spywares?Hey,guys…Help me or email me if one of you all have any solution..Thanks

I’m not able to use Yahoo Messanger now.
It says application crashed.
I’ve Windows Vista.
I’ve downliaded latest Version of yaho many times installed and uninstalled but..sorry to say no success…
so much used to of yahoo messanger but can’t use it now…

I just installed the latest version of Yahoo IM 9 on my Acer Aspire 5610 and it wont even start up. I press the icon in both the quick launch bar and in the Yahoo messenger file of the programs list on the start menu.

When press the icon, I get the icon like the computer is thinking (like the hour glass but a spinning circle) but then it just stops, and nothing happens.
