New Audibles: vote, scare & purr

If you’ve checked out the Audibles menu lately in Yahoo! Messenger 9.0, you may have come across some new residents. We’ve brought back the election audibles along with the ghoulish Halloween characters. And by popular demand, we’ve expanded the role of Emoticats by giving them their very own audibles.
Boo!
Send spooky greetings to your Messenger friends with the Halloween audibles. You can egg their IM window, send a black cat across their path, or scare them with a werewolf, ghost or ghastly scream.
Get out and vote
Early voting has already started in some states and our election audibles are ready to help you make sure your friends make it to the polls by November 4th. All the biggies are there – Abraham Lincoln, Uncle Sam, and the Statue of Liberty. And although you can’t wear election gear to the polls, you can outfit your Avatar with apparel to support your party or candidate.

We know you love the Emoticats IMV so we turned your furry friends into audibles. There’s a happy cat, a “vacationing” cat, and even an emoticat with a ‘tude.
To try them out, click the audibles icon ( 
) above the text box in your IM window (Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 only). Click the More Audibles button on the right, then “See All Audibles”. Then select “Halloween”, “Election” or “Emoticats” from the list.

I have a problem when I try to sign in into yahoo messenger in windows vista system. I’ve tried with many versions of messenger, but I receive an error when I become online, that says “this program has stopped responding” or something like this. then, I can only choose “close the program”. I have windows vista ultimate with service pack 1. I can say that is not a problem by antivirus or firewall. I hope that you, yahoo team, will read this note and you can do something because I miss yahoo messenger standalone version

There’s a glitch with one of the new audiables, one of the cat ones, it doesn’t have a name, once u send it, it won’t stop until u close out of the window.
Fix this and I’ll be a happy camper

Just another reminder that the black cat in the center (5th cat —- the one following the LOVELY vacationing cat) gets very anoying because it Won’t shut up!!! The rest of the cats are just precious, please keep ‘em coming.

I have been searching for a Holiday audible for years now…
Not sure if anyone remembers the “give me a break…I’m just a pair of socks..”

now that i upgrade my YMv9.0 i can not find my EMOTICONS in MORE AUDIBLES.
before i used YMv8.0 and emoticons are there. but now i cant find it.
Pls do something. its fun to use. i like that.

Just a note to let everyone know that we fixed the glitch with the one emoticat audible that wouldn’t stop meowing on load.
If you’re still experiencing the issue, try signing out of Messenger, quitting the program completely, then launching it and signing back in. Thanks,

where can i get.. the new audible.. it’s not in my audible… and also.. sumtimes.. my YM will not load the IM.. it’s say my flash was old… but i already upgrade my flash.. but it’s still the same…

a friend just turned me on to the messenger, and I have to tell you, the fact that I can talk instead of type is so cool, it even works pretty good with my wifi. Good work guys. I love it
