Point in question at Flickr:

Don’t upload anything that isn’t yours.
This includes other people’s photos, video and/or stuff you’ve collected from around the Internet. Accounts that consist primarily of such collections may be terminated at any time.

Then remove this feature ! Eventually Yahoo will be in court over copyright infringements and violations from the owners of the photos ! !

Do upload content that you have created.
Respect the copyright of others. This means don’t steal photos or videos that other people have shared and pass them off as your own. (That’s what favorites are for.)

This is in clear violation of the Flickr Terms of Service. An individual cannot upload anyhting to their Flickr account they did not create.

Please fix this immediately.

this is also a violation of the TOS of both flickr and Y! in that it is encouraging the use of copyrighted materials not owned by the person who posts them to their flickr account.

it’s also against the law.

the function should be disabled: you are essentially touting a feature that will cause deletions at flickr, which cannot be recovered, and the blame will be pointed right here to the IM team.

please fix this needless cause of account deletions.

There is some bad advice here….if you upload your friends pictures to your Flickr account, there is a good chance you will lose your flickr account as uploading pictures you did not take yourself is not allowed there.
If you do this, you risk deletion as it is contrary to the Flickr Community Guidelines.
