I have the yahoo voice account and have been making and recieving phone calls. Starting after the first of this year, my phone it stopped working. I use the +XXX-XXX-XXXX and it fails by telling me i don’t know how to dial out.

No matter what is put in there for the number it comes up with that error. Phone out has stopped working…

any fixes for that? Thanks…

Hi….i am running yahoo messenger 9.0.0.2034 on my new 64 bit windows vista home premium HP PC (with 4GB RAM)…..i cannot make phone out calls from yahoo messenger. The messenger interface doesnt show my remaining money on my account and neither does it make any more PC to phone calls.
I never had a problem using yahoo phone out with XP. Someone pls help me resolve my problem.

once i click yahoo messenger for vista, its througing an error that yours is not windows vista, please go for some other version, but my OS is windows vista basic….

Hi Prasanth,

There are a few different ways to initiate a pc to phone call within Yahoo! Messenger 9.0:

1) Hover your mouse on a contact in your list to reveal the contact card. From there you will see “Call XXX-XXX-XXXX” links for each of the phone numbers you have stored for that contact.

2) Right click on a contact in your list and choose “Call Phone Number”

3) Double click on a contact to open an IM window. Then click on the down arrow next to the Call button in the upper left to choose to dial their PC or a phone number you have stored for them.

Hello,
I have been using the yahoo phone out service without any problems in windows XP,Im not able to do this on my laptop which is vista .I have downloaded the latest version 9,still I am not able to find the phone -out symbol below the messenger list ,I checked and my phone out service account ,which is still active and also have a balance of funds.Please advice .Thank you

i used yahoo messenger for vista. it was good but very slow and it took lot of my cpu usage. but some how i had to re-install the windows (i.e. vista) but then i retired to downlaod it the file is no where to been seen on the internet where the hell it went and when are we going to have it back plz reply me thorugh email

Hi,

I’m using Yahoo Messenger V3.0 beta for mac for a couple of months now. I have used it to message and voice chat with a friend of mine in the Philippines. I don’t use a firewall and have made no system changes or software update changes. I have noticed that I can’t use voice chat any more. When I try the pop-up shows” connecting to server followed later by another message The Yahoo! Voice service could not make this call right now. Please try again a little bit later.”
Are you guys working on this problem????
would like to get your feedback about what you are doing to fix this bug.

I’ve installed yahoo messenger beta for windows vista home basic bbut i get the error message “Yahoo messenger has stopped working and the program doesn’t launch ” on checking the event logs i found the application had failed at secure32.dll and crashed how can i resolve this.
