however, i’m running Mac OS X 10.5.6 on iMAC. just installed voice messenger for PC to PC calls: i CANNOT INITIATE A CALL. i can receive a call fine, but i cannot initiate a call!

Are they going to allow mac users to voice chat in the chat rooms with yahoo messenger so you are able to hear people talking and so you are able to talk to the room?? If so does anyone know when?

The Mac version compared to the Windows version is a Joke. I had it for all of 15 minutes and got rid of it and started using Adium.

i got the beta… its ok… how about chatroom voice support? and chatroom video support? why is it always that the mac users are never on par with the windows users? why is it you Yahoo wont let us the mac user be able to have the same features that windows users do? its really not that hard… i mean look at ventrillo it has a mac and windows version and they’re both compatible with each other and there was loads of PC users in the same room and i use mac..i could converse with them all so why is it so hard? why does it take so long? surely your company isnt short staffed surely you have the best programmers and developers and why oh why must i suffer for MY personal preference in computer hardware and software?

please i really would have more faith in this company if it put a reason forward and if not possible then a representative of yahoo contact me via email and explain these things to me.

Running latest Leopard and YM3B3. Voice does not work. Test calls don’t work. All inputs in Systems Prefs configured correctly. Is this a build issue at Yahoo or incompatibility with Leopard 10.5.5?

I would like PC to PC calls. It worked in the past, but I’m not sure what triggered the current problem. Otherwise, I prefer YM for the MAC over the PC version.

i bought my new macbook and im facing a problem with my cam its always stopped to the viewer but in my window its ok and it says 1 viewer but absolutely my chatmate didint see me and they said it stop.can anybody help me to fix this problem pls..

I know Yahoo doesn’t care about Mac users but this new version of YM Is horrible. It’s hard to connect to the server and I can’t see my contacts list. This finally convinced me to switch to Adium.
