I have Windows Vista Home Premium. I was successfully able to install the beta (as far as I can tell, anyways), but when I try to open the program, nothing happens. I open up the task manager, and it shows it is running under the Processes tab, but I wait and wait and… nothing happens. Any idea what’s going on and how I can fix it?

when will release the final version of yahoo messenger 9.0?this beta is incomplete..and to others user wich have yahoo messenger 8.1 shows i have a old version..this is no right!!!!

I’m glad and disappointed: i cannot run it at my home. It just crashes, first with an “address violation” and then after trying to log in it gives me 2 “send to microsoft, don’t send” messages, after it just closes.
but at work, works seamlessly. no bug so far. i like being a lab rat!

OH MY GOD…this is so ugly…yahoo please save us. I download this yesterday now I want to get beck my YM 8.1.

The skin is shocking. in YM. Can be have a basic nice looking skin like G Talk? There is no conference icon. and you guys keep the annoying add. Yahoo already earning enough advertises revenue in main site. Please don’t put add in yahoo messenger.

I have seen add for YM vista. That looks much better plz I request we are waiting for so long now. We are expecting YM vista will replace this YM 9 soon.
