it’s annoying getting booted by immature people we need something to get rid of them once and for all, they kick us out of the room cus they want ownership of the chatworld cus they have no control in their personal lives. grow up people this is adult chat stay out of chat if your gonna act like children with your toys. and they also try to dictate who can be friends with who and if they dislike someone they expect everyone else to dislike the same people that’s childish. own yourselves and your own behavior , stop trying to control everyone, grow up.the captcha is a joke it doesnt keep the bots out that chatters create. its a waste of time.

I cannot find anywhere to click to get onto the Yahoo Chat via my Yahoo Messenger 3.0 Mac. Where is it? I do not have any menu, or menu options at all.

The bot thing is out of control maybe a scan of all profiles for known spam links and freezing the accounts would help just a thought and black listing known spam ip’s might to.

Ok yahoo. I understand you wanting to try and make chat better…but in reality the changes just made it worse. Now some rooms you can only get 16 people in to which wouldn’t be a problem except for the fact that most of the name in the rooms have been stuck there for weeks.that never use to happen before all the changes started happening in the summer.Also ppl in the us can olny get 16 ppl in the rooms but yet people in other countries can get 20 even 30 at times in the rooms. Honstly it seems as though since the code has started there seems to be more porn bots then before. At least before the same bots would be in the same room and if you iggied them it wasn’t a problem. Now some rooms have more porn bots then humans.
I really honstly wish you would put chat back the way it was!!!!!!!!! Thank You

Get rid of the security layer. It isn’t stopping the bots one bit. I have to enter in a security code for each chat room, and now, I find out after entering the code, that the room is full. Waste!!! and all he rooms have lots of spammers and botts. this chatpat is meking problem to the real users

The rooms still don’t accurately reflect the number of chatters in the room. Seems the upgrade didn’t help at all.

still think a “report as bot” link in the message window, coupled with deleting IDs of confirmed bots will be of use. If the runners have to keep taking time to create new IDs for their bots every few hours, sooner or later they should give up, like a lot of humans are doing now in dealing with the rooms full of bots.

Hello sir/ madam. The problem with laptop pc is just 2 days ago, I did formatting of my laptop. Before formatting, your yahoo messenger was working like a wonder. But that captcha image is now not getting to me. Yeah I am getting that link. But after clicking on that, I am not getting that image. Thats why i cant go to chat rooms. What could be the solution ??…

THANK U YAHOO for the nice holiday pressie… i see the room i go to someone has flooded it with bots… geeeeeeeeeeee so much for yahoo’s aka yahells technology on preventing bots ….
wonders what yahoo will be handing out or not preventin for new years …
