Web Messenger: countries added

Back in May, we launched a brand new version of Yahoo! Messenger for the Web. Whether you’re on dial-up, just don’t like downloading, or you’re on the road away from your regular PC or Mac, it makes it fast and easy to IM with your friends from any web browser.

We initially launched the product in a handful of countries, and with this latest release, Yahoo! Messenger for the Web is now available in 18 countries and 9 languages:

  11. I like the web messenger, because you don’t have to download anything on computers that forbid it (like at public library, or on college computers) to use it. I’d like to be able to choose which ID to use while using the web messenger. But, what I’m waiting for is the messenger that’s being build for Vista OS. I’ve seen the demo and it sounds cool. Are you almost done with that? I’d love to be a beta tester for it if you’re looking for volunteers!
