I am running windows vista and i get a message about the yahoo server problem when i try to make over my friend’s avatar. am i missing something or is there a problem with vista?

Hi Elvish,

The plug-in should have installed in the bottom part of your main Messenger window (in the Plug-ins section). Click on the title bar of the plug-in to reveal it if needed. Then click the “Makeover your Friend’s Avatar” button in the box to get started. This tutorial may be helpful as well:
