Yahoo Messenger Chatrooms suddenly go dead, those not logged in can't log in at all. Lasts about 45 minutes. Yahoo Messenger up and running after an hour or so, however, back to the same problem as before when trying to switch chatrooms (A long, long lag) Will this be the case for the next month and one half, as happened all through January? On another note: Curiously, when I tried to log on during todays down period, I was given the option of providing my credit card number, had I ever used it as some form of payment directly to Yahoo, as a means of retrieving my password. Was I possibly redirected to a "Phishing" website? Were thousands of others, as well? Or is this now standard operating procedure? I had never seen it before. Can any Yahoo Staff Member please take a moment to answer these questions, before they "mysteriously" disapear from this blog? Is there surely not some method of recieving warnings about downtime? Everyone recieved an instant message from Yahoo at least once that I'm aware of. I thought it was bogus, and paid it no mind. Untill I researched that message a bit and discovered it WAS, in fact, from Yahoo. Send us those p.m's when you know your going to have downtime? Please? It was very helpfull last year. Or possibly add another button to this blog, where we can click to find out? Oh please? It would show you care. 2/22/07

Is it planned to be exposed in one of the next 8.x versions ? Or is kept a "secret" so this feature will be only in the new "Vista" version, as an incentive to move to Vista version ? Sarah, can you please comment ? 10x ! (and thanks Andy for link.) ——————————————————————– ——————————————————————–
