PLEASE!! this feature is kicking me out from my messenger. Also logs on automaticaly ON LINE.
Also I HATE IT.

And one more thing. It is realy anoying. PLEASE AN OPTION TO REMOVE IT IF WE DO NOT, AN WE DO NOT, LIKE IT.

Hi. Nice blog..I’m wonderingif you could help me. I just susbscribed to yahoo messenger to sms. Is there any means / service that will forward my incoming emails to my IM id as chat message so that i can read emails as sms in my phone?
So far, the integration has been chat feature in Y mail and not otherwise. .

That new window forced into my yahoo mail interface with the Yahoo Chat & Mobile Text is possibly the most annoying, rudest thing Yahoo has done. Also, why on earth can’t I disable/remove it competely? I disconnect that window and move on. If I log off or close my browser and log back in, it starts up all over again. How really riddiculous is that?

The programmer responsible should be put on the unemployment line with the manager that approved his/her actions following 1 step behind.

I keep getting messages to approve users for yahoo messenger inside my yahoo mail the last few Days i agree with above , what gives you the right to Violate our privacy ? You do what you want BUT not what the people want, All you who work for Yahoo and think these are good ideas, who the F are you. Its time the people stood up and said Enough is enough if we don’t have a vote / say in what we want and don’t want,Time for you to go. Law suits would move it right along.
Also this captcha security BS that got started Means little to nothing, because it does NOT stop the BOTS its annoying and BS, BUT i’ll bet you what the say and what its REALLY used for is a whole different ballgame and if your not sitting in the boardrooms and know what the REAL deal is,They come out and tell you to tell the people this and you go for it all like ponds on a chessboard.

Personally I find this *new* feature rubbish, I want a way to get rid of this from mail, even though I have disabled it it keeps logging me in again every time I log into mail.

I use TRILLIAN and I am tired of the mail messenger eating up my offline messages and add requests.

is there a way i can stop the messenger coming up or disable it everytime i log on to check my mail it crashes the page both in firefox and internet explorer i’m considering moving to hotmail as it’s annoying

I can IM my husband in his yahoo mail, from my yahoo messenger, but I don’t get any of his messages back. Any idea why?

I do not like the yahoo mail messenger feature for one and only one reason, I cannot make the popup asking me if I want to use it go away. I click yes, it flashes and popsup again. I click no, it flashes and popsup again. It covers all the useable places in the mailbox. I cannot read mail or anything else. It makes my email mailbox useless. I have searched the sourcecode to try and find whether it is pulling code from a site that I do not have listed in my trusted zone and so may not be working with my java or javascript correctly and have yet to find any site other than yahoo.com or yimg.com and both are already trusted. arggggg. This is annoying. I apparently figured out how to disable this with another account of mine but have forgotten how, and I have asked for assistance with yahoo before with that same other account regarding this and I remember that I never received a response.
